REDONDO BEACH, Calif. (AP) - Police are reviewing surveillance video as they investigate the stabbings of two teenagers inside a Southern California mall.
The teens, who are both under 18, collapsed from their wounds Saturday evening on the third level of the South Bay Galleria in Redondo Beach.
Police Sgt. Mario Fizulich says the boy and girl are in intensive care Sunday after undergoing surgery.
A security guard found the injured pair near the mall's movie theaters and food court and called for help from police.
Before the boy passed out, he provided a general description of a suspect, an officer told the Los Angeles Times.
Investigators searched the shopping center but were unable to locate any suspects or witnesses.
Police did not order a lockdown, but they did check people and vehicles leaving the mall.
