SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - A suspect has been shot and killed by police after a chase of a stolen car that began in Daly City and ended in San Francisco early Saturday.
Authorities say the chase started in Daly City around 12:30 a.m. when police tried to pull the car over.
Few details have been released so far, but a San Francisco police spokesman says the suspect was shot by a Daly City police officer.
KTVU-TV reports when the chase came to an end in San Francisco two men jumped out of the car, with one of the two men being shot by police several times. The second man was not hurt. That person was taken into custody.
San Francisco police say they are handling the investigation into the incident.
