LOOMIS, Calif. (AP) - Authorities are investigating a triple
homicide in the Placer County community of Loomis.
Sheriff's Detective Sgt. Alfredo Guitron says the three victims
were found after a family member entered the home Saturday morning
and found one of the victims, a woman, dead inside the home.
A man was found moments later dead outside the home. Their names have not been released.
A third victim, identified by authorities as 46-year-old John
Camara, was found severely injured outside the home.
Camara was taken to a hospital, where he died Saturday night.
Guitron says all three victims suffered what he described as
"trauma to the head," though the exact cause of the deaths has
not been determined.
Investigators say there were no signs of forced entry to the
home, and the attack was not believed to be random.
