TRUCKEE, CA - Truckee police are investigating the death of a person apparently hit by a train.
At 1:40PM Wednesday, police received a report of a pedestrian struck by a moving train under and east of the Hwy 267 overpass. First responders arrived and discovered one person who had died.
The cause of this collision has not been determined. The train stopped to be part of the investigation. Vehicle traffic has not been affected. The victim's name hasn't been released.
