DALY CITY, Calif. (AP) - Officials say a 79-year-old man is in a San Francisco hospital with serious injuries after crashing into the side of a cliff while paragliding.
The North County Fire Authority tells the San Francisco Chronicle that the man crashed just north of Mussel Rock Beach in Daly City on Thursday afternoon, and it took emergency crews 40 minutes to get him down.
The man's name has not been released.
