Two Dead in Oakland Shooting

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) - Police are still investigating a shooting
that left a man and woman dead and another woman in critical
condition during a sideshow in east Oakland.

Police officers found three people with gunshot wounds when they
responded to reports of the shooting near the East Bay Dragons
motorcycle club on International Boulevard around 9:20 p.m. Sunday.

The Oakland Tribune reports that the woman killed was
28-year-old Latoya Kenny of Union City, a mother of two girls. She
and a 29-year-old San Leandro man were pronounced dead at the
scene.

Police say the injured woman, a 28-year-old San Leandro
resident, is expected to survive.

Sgt. Sean Fleming tells the Tribune that investigators believe
the three victims were part of a large group that attended a
barbecue earlier Sunday and were in the area when a sideshow
involving vehicles and motorcycles began.
