OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) - Oakland police are looking for a group of teenagers who opened fire on a transit bus early Saturday.
KTVU-TV http://bit.ly/VDRAwT reports the four teens had had just gotten off an AC Transit bus at 55th Ave and International Blvd. around 12:45 a.m. when they started shooting at the bus as it pulled away.
The station says none of the passengers on the bus were hit by gunfire, but four people were hurt by the sudden movement of the bus when the driver at first slammed on the breaks when the back window exploded from the gunfire, then sped away.
The injuries to the four passengers were described as non-life threatening, but no additional details have been released.
Officers told KTVU that there had been no arguments before the shooting.
Oakland police did not immediately respond to a request from The Associated Press for more information on the incident.
