SAN DIEGO (AP) - Military officials say a Navy helicopter made an emergency landing in a city park south of San Diego.
There were no injuries when the crew of a Navy Seahawk helicopter landed Thursday afternoon at Terra Nova Park in Chula Vista.
Navy officials say there also was no damage to the aircraft.
Officials say the crew received a cockpit indication that they should land at the earliest safe opportunity. Officials gave no further details.
Navy maintenance personnel planned to evaluate the aircraft to see if it may be safely flown back to a Navy base.
