GLENDALE, Calif. (AP) - Southern California officials say an adult mountain lion and an offspring likely killed a deer that was found dead at the Sport Complex in Glendale.
The Los Angeles Times (www.latimes.com ) says Glendale Community Services and Park personnel found the dead deer this week and there were mountain lion footprints nearby.
Residents also reported a large brown bear in the neighborhood earlier this week.
