Missing CA Man with Head Injury Found Safe in UT

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - A missing California man with a severe concussion from a mountain biking accident has been found safe but confused in Salt Lake City.

Matthew Abraham of Scotts Valley, Calif., was located in Salt Lake City's main library on Friday evening after authorities searched for him in California and Nevada.

Salt Lake police the say 20-year-old Abraham was unsure why he was in Utah and possibly didn't realize he was considered a missing person.

Santa Cruz County, Calif., sheriff's investigators say a man who traveled by bus with Abraham from San Francisco to Salt Lake City notified authorities after realizing Abraham was reported missing.

The search for Abraham began Thursday morning after his family discovered him missing from their home.

His parents say he became disoriented after the March 9 accident.
