HESPERIA, Calif. (AP) - Authorities have evacuated a Southern California motel after a meth lab was found in a room.
San Bernardino County Sheriff's deputies arrested a man Sunday after finding the meth lab in a Motel 6 room in Hesperia.
Authorities said 38-year-old Asinia Johnson was taken into custody for investigation of possession of components for a drug lab and identity theft. He was also held on suspicion of violating the terms of his parole.
A county fire spokesman said the third floor of the motel was evacuated while a hazardous materials team removed the lab from the room.
