RIVERSIDE, Calif. (AP) - A temporary caregiver has pleaded guilty to molesting a mentally challenged Southern California woman.
The Riverside Press-Enterprise says the 23-year-old woman was temporarily placed in the care of 57-year-old Rafael Togoto Tabuena in April because the primary caregiver was taking a leave.
She contacted the California Mentors program, which placed her in Tabuena's home.
The victim told investigators that Tabuena molested her in the bathroom and in her bedroom.
Tabuena pleaded guilty on Friday to a felony charge of orally copulating a person incapable of giving consent. He will be sentenced on Sept. 28.
