AUBURN, Calif. (AP) - One of three people injured when an SUV crashed into a Northern California restaurant's outdoor seating area has died.
Auburn police say the 53-year-old man died on Tuesday, a day after he was pinned under the SUV when it crashed into the restaurant. His name has not been released.
The man's wife and a male friend were also taken to the hospital, where they were treated and released.
Police say the 72-year-old driver was attempting to park her car in front of the restaurant when she lost control of the vehicle.
The crash remains under investigation.
