ALPINE, Calif. (AP) - A small early-morning earthquake has rattled an area east of San Diego but there have been no reports of damage or injuries.
The US Geological Survey says the quake, with a preliminary magnitude of 3.5, struck just before 1:41 a.m. Sunday about 27 miles east of Alpine and 45 miles east of San Diego.
Authorities say they haven't received any calls about damage or injuries.
