Lawrence Berkeley lab evacuated over bomb threat

EMERYVILLE, Calif. (AP) - Authorities have evacuated an Emeryville office building used by Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory after a reported bomb threat.
The San Francisco Chronicle reports that the threat was reported around 7 a.m. Wednesday. The University of California, Berkeley runs the lab under a contract with the federal government.
The lab's main campus is in Berkeley.
UC Berkeley police Lt. Eric Tejada tells the Chronicle police have called in bomb-sniffing dogs.
