VENTURA, Calif. (AP) - Ventura County will weigh whether to require porn actors to wear condoms during filming similar to a law adopted by Los Angeles County voters last year.
The Ventura County Star reports county Supervisor Linda Parks plans to introduce an ordinance to discourage adult film companies from making movies in the county.
Since LA County passed the condom law last year, companies have been scouting for locations outside the San Fernando Valley where most adult films are shot.
The Ventura County Board of Supervisors is expected to take up the issue in May. If passed, it would apply to unincorporated regions in the county.
