SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - One of California's largest Native American casinos is drawing big crowds on its opening day.
The California Highway Patrol said just hours after Graton Resort & Casino opened on Tuesday morning that its parking lot was full. Drivers were advised to find alternate parking.
The $800 million, Las Vegas-style casino is located in wine country about 50 miles north of San Francisco.
It has 3,000 slot and video poker machines, blackjack and other card games and four full-service restaurants.
Opponents of the casino, meanwhile, are appealing a judge's decision to dismiss their lawsuit.
