FRESNO, Calif. (AP) - A Fresno police officer is under investigation for date rape after photos of an unconscious nude woman reportedly were found on his computer.

The woman is a former officer with the nearby Reedley Police Department.

The Fresno Bee reports that the Fresno County sheriff's department is investigating because the alleged assault was in an unincorporated area.

Police Chief Jerry Dyer placed 34-year-old William Wyatt on paid administrative leave in January, when the woman learned that photos
of the alleged assault were on Wyatt's computer. The woman told investigators she does not remember having sex and would have been too intoxicated to give consent after drinking at a nightclub in
August 2010.

She reported the incident to Reedley's police chief.

The Bee reported the incident after viewing search warrant documents.
