SAN BERARDINO, Calif. (AP) - A fire at an abandoned Southern California bowling alley is sending up huge clouds of smoke and dozens of firefighters are battling the blaze.
Authorities say the fire erupted at about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in San Bernardino.
Television news reports show fire crews on the ground and on ladders pouring water into the interior of the building, which appears to be a mass of flames.
Black and white smoke is erupting from the roof.
No other buildings are immediately threatened.
City Fire Chief George Avery tells KNBC-TV (http://bit.ly/1dSaBlJ ) that the fire is considered suspicious.
