PLUMAS COUNTY, CA -- An early morning fire in Quincy has destroyed several buildings in the downtown area, according to Plumas County News.

The fire started in Pizza Factory around 4:00 Sunday morning, and quickly spread through the attic and destroyed that building along with the former Quincy Chamber of Commerce office, High Sierra Vapor, Quincy Thrift, and the former Great Northern Building, the paper reports.

Plumas County News is also reporting that the Quincy Fire Department was still in the mop-up phase of the blaze late Sunday morning.

Quincy Fire Chief Robbie Cassou told the paper all of the buildings are connected through attics and basements.

KOLO 8 News Now has reached out to the Quincy Fire Department, but they have not returned our calls as of yet.

We will provide more information as soon as we receive it.
