WATSONVILLE, Calif. (AP) - The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the death of a 25-year-old Santa Cruz County woman who was run over by a party bus after she and another passenger got into a fight then fell out of the bus while it was moving.
The Santa Cruz Sentinel reports that no one has been charged in Felton resident Natasha Noland's death on Highway 17 in Watsonville Friday night.
CHP Officer D.J. Sarabia says the bus was taking people back from a Brad Paisley concern in Mountain View and traveling 45 to 50 miles per hour when Noland and a 20-year-old woman tumbled out a door. The bus ran over Noland, killing her.
The Sentinel says Noland worked at a Santa Cruz surf shop owned by her parents and that her boyfriend witnessed the accident.
