LOS ANGELES (AP) - A California judge has ordered the Boy Scouts of America to release two decades of internal files detailing sexual abuse allegations, the latest in a series of disclosures by the youth organization.

Santa Barbara County Superior Court Judge Donna Geck issued her ruling Wednesday. She had previously ordered the release of the files, but attorneys for the Boy Scouts appealed her decision. Earlier this month, the state Supreme Court rejected the appeal.

The files must be turned over to attorneys representing a former Scout who claims a leader molested him in 2007 when he was 13. Plaintiff's attorney Timothy Hale said there are about 120,000 pages of documents.

Messages left for attorney Tom Delaney, who represents the Boy Scouts, were not immediately returned.
