FRESNO, Calif. (AP) - A California man is licking his wounds after being pummeled by a karate student who police say found the drunken intruder in her bathroom.
Jannine Ramirez had just won a karate competition when she arrived at her Fresno apartment and heard 18-year-old Wilberto Zapata in the bathroom.
Police say Zapata recently moved into the apartment complex and mistakenly went into the wrong apartment unit early Sunday.
The Fresno Bee says the 20-year-old woman knocked down the bathroom door and kicked the stranger through a shower door before landing a series of punches until he was out of the apartment.
Zapata was cited for unlawful entry into a home and released.
