Body of Diver Identified

SALT POINT STATE PARK, Calif. (AP) - The body of an abalone diver who had disappeared off the Northern California coast on Monday has been recovered after a two-day search.

The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office identified the diver as 56-year-old Craig Emery Willes of Timber Cove. His body was found Thursday at about 11:10 a.m., approximately 20 feet underwater near the area where he was last seen at Fisk Mill Cove in Salt Point State Park.

An autopsy is planned.
