Authorities have called off a search for two suspects who fled following a deadly shootout at a pot farm in the San Bernardino Mountains.
Authorities say officers from a drug task force were clearing an illegal marijuana grove when they came under gunfire from several people camped in a steep canyon near Lytle Creek.
Authorities say officers returned fire, killing one man.
Sheriff's spokeswoman Jodi Miller says two other suspects dressed in camouflage fled the area, prompting a day-long search that was called off Monday evening.
Miller says the two suspects remain outstanding and there are no plans to continue the search tomorrow.
No officers were injured, and the dead man's identity was not immediately released.
