A 62-year-old East Bay woman is OK after spending a good part of the week lost in the Brisbane hills.
Authorities say the woman apparently became lost Sunday morning
after leaving her home in Brisbane to go for a walk in the hills.
Her ordeal came to an end when a team of surveyors came upon her
and called authorities.
Her roommate of 30 years did not report her missing until yesterday morning because she thought she was with friends.
Brisbane police say the woman was dehydrated and malnourished,
but was not showing in other ill effects when she was rescued.
Her name has not been released.
