Famous friends of a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist who died in car crash near San Francisco agreed to take part in a short film to promote the writer's final book.
David Halberstam was killed in a car accident in Menlo Park in April.
His last book, "The Coldest Winter," is a history of the Korean War that the author had compared to his celebrated work on the Vietnam War, called "The Best and the Brightest."
Bob Woodward, Joan Didion and Seymour Hersh are among those who
will be part of the short promotional film about the book.
The film is expected to run about half an hour. It'll premiere November 11
in New York, then screen in dozens of cities around the country.
