Quick-acting bystanders are being credited with saving a two-year-old who nearly drowned yesterday.
Police say they received an emergency call from Lake Cunningham
late yesterday afternoon.
Bystanders had plucked the child from the water and had started
giving C-P-R by the time authorities arrived.
The toddler was breathing on his own and showing a pulse when an
ambulance took him to Valley Medical Center. His name and condition
haven't been released.
