Four Shot at Wilderness Retreat

TEMECULA, Calif. (AP) - Riverside County sheriff's officials say
four people have been shot at a Temecula-area wilderness retreat.

A sheriff's spokeswoman says two of the victims appear to have
been critically injured in the shooting around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Deputy Herlinda Valenzuela says tentative reports indicate there
was more than one shooter.

Police and emergency crews converged on a rural area off Highway
79 after receiving reports of gunfire near the Kkottongnae Retreat
camp.

Law enforcement officers interviewed people at what appeared to
be a triage center for injured victims.

About five people were huddled under blankets nearby, waiting
and talking to police.

A sheriff's dispatcher would not provide further information and
referred all questions to a spokesman.
