GARDENA, Calif. (AP) - A commercial helicopter pilot who let an adult film actress perform a sex act on him while he flew over San Diego says he's learned his lesson and won't do that again.
David Martz testified Tuesday that his actions during the May 20, 2005, flight weren't bright and he's much more responsible now.
Martz has asked a National Transportation Safety Board administrative law judge to rescind a Federal Aviation Administration order revoking his license.
An FAA attorney contends it was so reckless and irresponsible that it doesn't matter if he's changed.
A passenger videotaped the scene in the helicopter and an edited version surfaced. Judge William R. Mullins viewed the unedited tape
in chambers and plans to rule quickly.
