At Least Two Dead in Hollywood Crash

LOS ANGELES (AP) - A vehicle has crashed into three pedestrians
on a Hollywood crosswalk, killing two women and leaving the other
critically wounded.

Sheriff's Sgt. Chris Tatar says the accident occurred Tuesday
night at Fountain and La Brea avenues, after one vehicle collided
with another and sent it into the pedestrians.

Tatar says a 65-year-old woman and a 50-year-old woman died. A
50-year-old man has been hospitalized in intensive care.

The two drivers, who suffered minor injuries, were being
questioned by Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies.
