SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) - Santa Clara police are still trying to piece together what happened last night at a home where seven people were found shot.
Six of them -- three children and three adults -- have died. The seventh victim, a woman in her mid-30s, remains in critical condition.
Neighbors called 911 last night around 8:30 p.m. after they found the woman bleeding on the sidewalk.
The suspected gunman -- a man in his 40s -- is among the dead.
Police believe it was a family dispute. They are still trying to determine the exact relationship between all those involved and possible motive for the attacks.
