LOS ANGELES (AP) - Authorities are hunting for a bank robber
nicknamed the "Sleeves Bandit" because he appears to wear fake
tattoo sleeves during some of his robberies.
The unidentified man is a middle-aged white male of medium build who enters banks near closing time and brandishes a handgun while robbing multiple tellers.
In addition to the fake sleeves of tattoos, the man usually wears some type of face covering, like a beekeeper's veil or sunglasses.
Believed to be responsible for at least 15 bank robberies since Thanksgiving, the "Sleeves Bandit" has robbed banks from Monterey
to La Crescenta.
If the public has any information, authorities can be reached at 1-888-CANT HIDE.
