DANVILLE, Calif. (AP) - Police have arrested a 15-year-old boy in the death of a Danville teenager who was shot in front of his home earlier this week.
Danville police Chief Chris Wenzel described the suspect as an acquaintance of 17-year-old Rylan Fuchs, but declined to name him
because he is a minor. He was arrested early Friday.
Fuchs' stepfather, Ron Harmon, found his stepson outside bleeding from the neck Tuesday night after he went outside to investigate a noise.
Wenzel said drugs may be a motive in the shooting.
The killing is Danville's first homicide since January 2007.
