DANVILLE, Calif. (AP) - The wife of the California pilot who
safely landed a crippled jetliner in the Hudson River says her
husband will be shocked to find out that he is being hailed as a

Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger, remained sequestered as part of the
investigation into the emergency water landing that ended without
But Lorrie Sullenberger says she's not surprised at her
husband's cool handling of the situation. She says the successful
outcome is consistent with "the Sully I know."
She thinks he will brush off the praise being heaped on him and
will say he was just doing his job.
