2 Killed In Los Angeles House Fire

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Authorities say a man and woman were killed
and another woman was critically injured in a fire at a Los Angeles
home.

The blaze tore through the home in the Baldwin Village neighborhood southwest of downtown early Friday morning.

An initial investigation leads authorities to believe the house was intentionally set.

Los Angeles City Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey says firefighters arrived at the home to find a critically burned woman outside the house.

The woman remains in critical but stable condition.

She said her husband and daughter were trapped inside. Both died from their injuries.
