INDUSTRY, Calif. (AP) - A freight train smashed a big rig's
trailer today at a rail crossing in an industrial area of eastern
Los Angeles County.
Los Angeles County Fire Department Inspector Sam Padilla says no
one has been injured in the crash, which left a mountain of
packages from the truck's cargo littering the street.
Padilla does not know what caused the accident.
It is not immediately known which company was operating the
train. The Union Pacific and Southern Pacific railroads both run
through the city.
