RIVERSIDE, Calif. (AP) - Riverside police say a 7-year-old boy who was kidnapped while waiting for a school bus has been found safe in Las Vegas.
Las Vegas police say Eduardo Rivera was found sleeping at a home in Las Vegas early this morning and was taken into protective custody.
Witnesses say two men grabbed Eduardo and pulled him into a waiting car yesterday as he waited at a Riverside corner for a school bus.
Vegas Metro Police Sgt. Dave Stansbury says a tip led police this morning to a van at a casino in Laughlin. Officers followed the van for about 100 miles to the Las Vegas strip, where they stopped two men inside and got an address to a Las Vegas home.
The boy was found at the home this morning. The men in the van and a woman who answered the door at the home were held for questioning but not immediately arrested.
Authorities say they don't have a motive for the kidnapping.
