Fatal Motorcycle Crash Shuts Down Much Of I-10

WEST COVINA, Calif. (AP) - A fatal motorcycle crash in West Covina has shut down most of Interstate 10 heading into Los Angeles during morning rush hour.

The California Highway Patrol says the crash that killed one man just before 7 a.m. Wednesday morning brought the closure for hours of all but one westbound lane near Vincent Avenue, backing up downtown-bound commuters for miles while the wreckage was cleared and coroner's officials removed the body.

The victim was identified only as an adult white male.
