Remaining Suspects In Rodeo Attack Surrender

RODEO, Calif. (AP) - Two remaining suspects in an attack on a Contra Costa County Sheriff's deputy in Rodeo are in police custody.

Authorities say 20-year-old Aljamair Walker and his brother, 19-year-old Brandon Walker, surrendered Friday. They are suspected of criminal conspiracy and assaulting and threatening a police officer.

Police have arrested two other people in the case.

Contra Costa County authorities say the 30-year-old deputy was punched and had a bottle thrown at her Monday while trying to arrest one of the two brothers for alleged public intoxication.

The other suspects allegedly attacked the deputy in an attempt to help him get free.

The deputy's name has not been released. She was treated at John Muir Medical Center and released.
