Bogus Shots-Fired Call Leads To Brothel

ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) - A bogus shots-fired call led police to a brothel in a fashionable Arcadia neighborhood.

Police Lt. Paul Foley says the robbery in progress and shots fired call Wednesday night apparently came from an unhappy customer.

Officers arrested 58-year-old Steve Wang and 57-year-old Gracie Gao for investigation of misdemeanor operating a house of prostitution. They were released Thursday on $500 bail each.

Police don't know who called in the phony crime report.
