ORANGE, Calif. (AP) - A high school band director in Orange County has been accused of having illegal sex with a male student.
Carlie Rose Attebury, 29, was charged Friday with eight felony counts, including sexual intercourse and dissuading a witness from reporting a crime.
Prosecutors contend that earlier this year, Attebury twice had unlawful sex with a student who was 15 or 16 at the time.
Attebury is on leave from El Modena High School in Orange. She was arrested earlier this month and is free on bail.
