BERKELEY, Calif. (AP) - A minor earthquake has struck near Berkeley, but authorities reported no damages or injuries.
The U.S. Geological Survey says the magnitude-3.1 quake struck at 9:26 p.m. Sunday and was centered 2 miles northeast of Berkeley, 2 miles northwest of Orinda and 4 miles east of Albany.
A dispatcher for Berkeley's fire and police departments said there were no immediate reports of damages or injuries.
