LOS ANGELES (AP) - Authorities say three people were killed and four injured after the minivan they were traveling in turned over on a Los Angeles freeway connector.
City News Service reports that the GMC minivan veered off the northbound connector from the Arroyo Seco Parkway to the Golden State Freeway, hit a concrete wall, turned over and skidded on its side shortly after midnight Saturday.
California Highway Patrol says four people were thrown from the vehicle and three of them died, including a 12-year-old girl.
Authorities say the minivan's 55-year-old driver and three passengers were injured in the crash. They were taken to the hospital with minor to moderate injuries.
