SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) - A San Jose jeweler was arrested on
suspicion he sold cubic zirconium stones as diamonds to at least
twenty victims.

Police say Gerald Dan Mokma, of Santa Clara, sold more than $240,000 worth of fake diamonds to customers over five years.

Investigators say others who suspect they may have bought sham
diamonds from Mokma's Willow Estates Jewelry should get the jewelry
appraised.

Mokma, 60, was arrested Thursday on a warrant for grand theft.
