Pedestrian Struck By 4 Cars on PCH Dies

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (AP) - Police say a pedestrian has died
after being struck by four cars on the Pacific Coast Highway.

The Huntington Beach Police Department said the pedestrian was hit by a silver Nissan as he tried to cross the street Saturday night. The Nissan driver called authorities.

The pedestrian, who was not identified, was then struck by three
other vehicles - a Toyota 4Runner, a Honda Element and an unknown
compact vehicle.

Authorities are searching for the driver of the compact vehicle, who is accused of fleeing the scene.

No arrests have been made.
