2 Arrested In Connection With Box Cutter Attack

EL CAJON, Calif. (AP) - Hemet police say they arrested two men in connection with slashing a Target employee with a box cutter while stealing several Nintendo Wii controllers.

Target employee followed two men out of the store on Sept. 12 and confronted them about taking the game controllers.

Police say one man slashed the employee several times with a box cutter across his upper body before driving away. The employee was
hospitalized but is recovering.

Police were eventually able to track to suspects to a house in El Cajon and arrested Cedric Fields and Felicia Gonzalez on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, robbery and burglary.
