deputies were gunned down last weekend has been arrested in the Los Angeles area for investigation of drug trafficking.
Carlos Alberto Cedano Filippini was arrested Wednesday night in

of conspiracy to distribute narcotics.
They were arrested by a task force that included members of the
DEA and Los Angeles Police Department.
Filippini was not targeted by the task force.
He was the top agent in Mexicali for the Agencia Federal de Investigacion, known as AFI. The San Diego Union-Tribune reports
Filippini's two top agents were shot to death in Mexicali Saturday night. No arrests have been made in those killings.
