Rapper Facing Drug Charges After Airport Arrest

SACRAMENTO (AP) - A Bay Area rapper is facing federal drug charges after authorities say he tried to board a flight at Sacramento International Airport with thousands of ecstasy pills.

Steven Noel Davison of Vallejo is being held after appearing in federal court in Sacramento Thursday on a federal complaint charging him with possession with intent to distribute ecstasy.

The 34-year-old Davison -- who is also known as "PSD," "PSD tha Drivah" and "Stevie Dee" -- was arrested on July 14 during a screening check at the airport.

Federal prosecutors say during the check, Transportation Security Administration agents discovered Davison had tried to hide 6,000 ecstasy pills in his clothes.

Davison was ordered held pending another hearing Monday.
