SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. (AP) - Two women were shot to death and
another woman has been arrested in connection with the killings west of Lake Tahoe.
El Dorado County sheriff's deputies went to a home yesterday (Thursday) in the Pleasant Valley area after a woman called California Highway Patrol dispatch to say she had been shot.
Officers found two victims inside the home. One woman was dead
at the scene and the second woman died en route to the hospital.
Dana Leigh Dodd was booked on charges of first degree murder and
was being held at the El Dorado County Jail in Placerville, Investigators are trying to determine a motive.
Names of the victims are being withheld until relatives are notified.
